But our county has descended, along with most in California, to Covid Tier Purple, the most restrictive designation on the scale. Restaurants, gyms, churches, groups of any kind--I won't go into the details. Reported virus cases have more than doubled in the last ten days. People who were still hanging on to Thanksgiving plans are giving up. Or at least some people. I'm sure there are those who still believe this is a hoax, or that we are over-reacting, or that they are somehow special and don't need no stinkin' masks. The rest of us are hunkering down again, or still.
