Today I am grateful that the cat alerted us to the snake in the garden before I went to water it. A blue belly black (or spotted black, according to my more knowledgeable baby brother).

Also that the huge goanna whose tracks I saw was gone when I went walking!

Three guineafowl chicks in the box now.
