The birthday treats continue with (champagne-less) afternoon tea at Peacock Alley, Caledonian Hotel. Beautiful food in beautiful surroundings. It beat us, box required to take most of the patisserie home.

Extra: how cute is this - instead of putting big ‘do not use’ signs on alternative hand basins in the loos - they keep them occupied!
