Extinct era

This image has fascinated me for a long time. These are SCUNTHORPE steel workers working in a long closed steel works. Well a minuscule remnant is still going but SCUNTHORPE in North Lincolnshire has lost so much. These man were heroes working in murderous conditions shortening their precious lives.

The actual photograph is displayed in Scunthorpe General Hospital where I sometimes see patients and I have to say where my own life was SAVED last year.

I love this image. I wish I was there myself to take it. Just such amazing scene.
