Back to Fradley Junction

It was quiet.
None of the tourist boats.
Just the resident one or two, with woodsmoke.
A few fishermen (some where they are allowed, and others....)

I went home along the Fradley to Rugeley road and it was horrific to see the destruction of huge swathes of mature woodland. They assure us that HS2 will be worth it. But if it is scrapped now, we have already lost so much.
