Tribal

Tonite I have mostly been in the Big Smoke watching the Germans teach us how to play footy. The only positive was that it wasn't my beloved Spurs getting the lesson but rather my dear boys Arsenal. It was a sorry affair brightened only by the Bayern fans singing 'footballs coming home.' In fact they sang several numbers in perfect English & i suspect were they playing in Spain they would bless the locals with songs in their native voice too.

The Emirates was very quiet tonite, German support excluded, and you fear for the Club's need to build & the huge task in evidence. Wenger lost class players & the new ones he got they sold on. One player remains so they better work damn quick to keep him. He's worth it. Mr Wilshire would grace any midfield. The football world would have noted that tonite. Arsenal fans beware.

Of course if football players were tribal like the fans, none of this would matter. Sadly the money god speaks far too loudly.
