Set off...

in rain and wind, that gradually improved the higher I went and by the time I reached this viewpoint it was sunny and lovely. Dried out. The Cairngorms were not visible, hidden under cloud. The Cromdales and Ben Rinnes were clearly seen.
On the way up through the woods, there were Woodpeckers, Bullfinches, Tits, Wrens, Crossbills and Squirrels.
