Greedy goldfinches.

A quick blip asI am in the middle of cooking Jambalaya for our evening meal.
Just finished the preparation which has taken nearly an hour. Mainly because I needed to joint the chicken.
Have decided to invest in some poultry shears, so will send an order off to Lakeland tomorrow as I need one or two other things as well.

Walked down to the village to pickup a Yorkshire Post. A rather dismal day, but at least it wasn’t raining. Nice to get some fresh air.
An interesting article about investment in barge transport for a green future, along with some photos of the barge we saw on Thursday. I hope they get the government help which is needed.

The only photo I have taken was of the goldfinches. So will have to do for my Blip today.

Half past four and it is already dark.
However only another month and it starts getting lighter!
