Southrey Church

Work this morning was followed by a little trip out to search out a blip . We took a drive out to a little Village about 10 miles outside of Lincoln. Southrey is on the banks of the River witham and is a small village with this lovely little Church that is made of Timber and was meant to be a temporary place of worship . Built by local residents in 1898 at a cost of £130 which was probably a lot of money in them days. It is a well maintained building which is still used today. We didn't know it at the time but if we had tried the door we could have gone inside . We took a little walk around the area some of my shots can be seen HERE.
Back home and we did the bonkers thing of putting up the Christmas tree I know its only November.  That is the problem with this year its making us all do daft things me included .
A relaxing film night and some beers to recover from the shock .
