What a beautiful day!

I made the most of it by getting up and dressed by 8.30. On my DAY OFF!
By noon I had produced flapjacks, crispy cakes, a fruit loaf and a sticky marmalade cake.
Rather than stay in and spend the afternoon doing housework and avoiding actually eating cake I headed off to StAndrews with my camera bag, a flask of coffee and a mug.

I got some nice photos along the East Sands and around the harbour and pier (well, I think they are nice! ;-) ).

This heron kept perching on the rocks at the edge of the harbour and was quite camoflaged but I waited patiently sitting on a bollard and was rewarded with a few shots of it flying.
