A real treat this afternoon as Ewen and Lorraine delivered an exclusive bottle of canola (rapeseed) oil - one of only 12 bottles of the original cold pressing of this new vintage to go furth of Western Australia, where it’s manufactured by their son and daughter-in-law. An astonishing little puddle of sunshine - bright yellow, free of all preservatives and chemicals, and a beautiful nutty flavour. Sadly, this isn't an ad because it can’t be bought here, but if it could... Block 275 is the official address of their farm, Midoxgate, named after the parental home in Easter Ross
