Hello sunshine

Actually got out into the garden today to do some tidying up. I was emptying out some pots that had been standing about when this little fellow shone out in the sunlight. I dont know what he is but he probably has some clever name like 'Green Beetle'. I assumed he was dead but I left him in the sun while I went in to get my camera and lo and behold when I got back he had crawled onto my trowel.
I am just amazed at the depth of colour he has.
