Birthday blooms

As an extra birthday surprise, Mo was delighted to get these flowers from Carl and Laura.

We watched the rugby in the afternoon, Andy called from Glasgow, then George and I made a birthday tea of pizza and coffee cake.

The unicorn sparkler decoration was, I felt, a bit underwhelming. But the birthday girl was kind enough to say she’d liked it.
