Cedar of Lebanon

L2 Day 18 - another trip to NT Claremont Gardens at Esher. As it’s booking only numbers are limited so it was lovely and quiet compared to public parks. Very impressed with what the volunteers do there as there seems to be a different display of some sort every time we go ... today of information about several trees including the Cedar of Lebanon. A very big majestic tree. I remember the first ones I became familiar with were in the grounds of my secondary school and we had to draw one in an Art lesson! There are also several in Teddington near where I live, planted long ago in the gardens of big houses which are no longer there!
