Evening sky

After one of those simply gorgeous Autumn days.  We had a walk, a really good one as well as me making the C cake*  (I know I said I would wait until we had another bad weather day)  but I jumped out of bed this morning, unusual, and thought today's the day to make the cake ..........  unfortunately I made a small mistake, I used soft light brown sugar, instead of dark.  Now out of the oven it's looking different, hope it won't taste that different.....  smells good. 

I shall be dropping more brandy in from time to time!
