Lakeland Gingerbread

I made another batch of Jamie’s ‘Lakeland’ gingerbread which is a copy of Sarah Nelsons gingerbread you can buy in Grasmere in the Lake District. It’s really lovely, more like a biscuit than a cake and very similar to the real thing.
D and I had a good walk this morning in the sun and saw lovely village people who stopped and chatted.
Rumours are, we might be able to mix for 5 days over Christmas. Let’s hope they are true.
