Rabbits Giraffes, And Other Things

In more normal times this Sunday we would have headed off to Royal Deeside for our fortnight to celebrate Thanksgiving with our friends.

This would have been the 36th year. However,  we decided to stay home and celebrate here with a number of virtual get togethers.

Today we drove by a byways route to the The Buffalo Farm near Kirkcaldy to collect some Buffalo steaks, etc. Quite a place to visit, especially if you have children. The Buffalo Farm

Pat was expecting to see Bison roaming the Fife plains, however, the herd is Water Buffalo and they are all in warm sheds for winter.

We had ordered through the web site, and arranged for click and collect. It all worked very well.

Back home, Pat made some Buffalo Burgers. They were excellent as was the wine.

No Blipfoto of Bison, however, I did take a picture of some curiosities which are in the Niche next to my side of the bed.
