I felt the need to venture farther than the neighbourhood after a long week at work so I took myself off to Bermondsey. 

That was a mistake. Whilst the DLR and Tube were fine, once I got out of the station it was incredibly busy. I’ve never seen Borough Market so crowded, and Bermondsey Street was heaving in parts. I headed over the bridge to the City and found calm. Before I left the mayhem I was lucky to meet this delightful woman who let me photograph her.

Later on there was talk of further restrictions after this lockdown ends. It’s hardly surprising.
