That's what this type of clock is commonly known as here isn't it? Mass produced during the 20s and 30s almost everyone had one like this at one time or another.

Very quiet day..

I even had my dinner brought around which was very nice.

C was quite perky and happy and soon made her excuses when I rang this afternoon. She is so confused.
