A walk by the canal

I couldn't believe the time when I woke up it was 8.45am!!! I usually wake any time between 5.30 and 7.30 am!! I still had to have my cup of tea and read in bed before showering and getting dressed. 
 I went for a walk down the canal. The sun was shining and it was lovely. Just as I got down to the canal it started to rain so I sheltered under the bridge until the rain stopped. There were quite a few fishermen, several cyclists, walkers and a man rowing down the canal. It was very very muddy.  Now the leaves have gone the canal really looks different. The 3 in the collage were sat on my favourite bench having a picnic. I did stop and chat to them. They had come for a lovely long walk along the canal. Luckily they are all still in work and 2 work from home so love getting out into the countryside at the weekend. The sun came out again before I reached home. Outdoor Christmas lights and decorations are starting to pop up on the estate. I  spotted a giant snowman in one garden.
