Bougainvillea

The bougainvillea is still flowering well. Today's walks involved trips to the doctor and chemist so nothing exciting. I was a bit miffed at the doctor to discover that no sooner had we signed on with him as our doctor, he announced that he is going back to Belgium in the New Year. He was attracted to the village by promises made by the Maire and maintains that those promises have been broken.  That is the second doctor that the village has lost in similar circumstances.  It is becoming harder and harder to attract doctors to village practices so they need to be made to feel welcome. I just wish there doctor had informed us of his intentions when we signed up a couple of weeks ago!  We have an appointment with another doctor on Wednesday and just hope she will accept us. Unfortunately it will mean more admin with the health authority.
