End of our valley
If you are careless, you stop seeing the view one lives in. This is the granite outcrop at the end of our valley - quite impressiv e when you actually look
High excitment today as our roofer arrived to complete the various bits of snagging from a few yerars ago.
Lots of running around on the tiles and we are assured that it shouldf all be sorted. Now we need a bit of rain to check. Lucky he did come as for osme reason, the b attery has died on our car after my taking it up our (rough) back drive. All sort of dire warning of 'chassis control system error' and a nasgty clicking noise meanty I had visions of calling out a pick-up truck and an expensive gzaravge bill. First attmept on the jump leads and no joy but the second go prodiced the desired effect and there seems to be no after affects of my using the car to transport cement, sand and stones up the drive. Fingers crossed.
