Along with the kitchen saga - still ongoing - the gas boiler started making alarming noises whenever we ran the hot tap.

Then it decided it had had enough. So it’s been luke warm / cold showers for a couple of weeks.

It was finally fixed today, at the third attempt.

So, a proper hot bath was a welcome diversion.
