Dalehead Tarn

Another decent day. So we started early and walked over Catbells, Maiden Moor and High Spy, before returning via the shores of the Lake. 11.5 miles in all - and we were treated to some stunning light. My favourite shot of the day was this one of Dalehead tarn with sunbeams. Shortly after, the clouds built, and on the slatey descent from High Spy, we had hailstones - which made it pretty difficult going.

Fabulous walk, what a great day. Ended with a lovely home cooked roast dinner.
