Swimming and rainbows

Managed to get a couple of things done in the house before heading out for a run. Plan was for me to meet J at Portie so she could have a swim after her run. Managed to get 500m down the road before the rain came, I was soaked through before the end of the first K. Chose a route with not too many hills and headed to Davison Mains before getting onto the Prom at Cramond. Up hill for most of the first 8K into a head wind and being soaked was not much fun, still enjoyed the tail wind into Leith to achieve my first sub 2 hour half marathon. Met SR at Joppa for her and J to have their swim. There was a great rainbow on the beach as they started, not long into their swim the hail arrived and Kilda and I got wet through for the second time that morning so we headed back to the car to wait for them. Went in search of foot tape and popcorn after a late lunch before collecting fish and chip for dinner. Our favourite chip shop was doing breaded sea bass which was great. Lit the fire and had a night on the sofa watching Strictly
