Left, right or centre?

What a dilemma this afternoon.  

Whilst preparing the dried fruit for my Christmas cakes, the usual cheapo brandy I use was not looking like it was going to cut it.

Hmm, I'm sure we've got some more somewhere.....
In the back of the cupboard I find two rather nice looking bottles of Armagnac.     

Both were gifts from my brother-in-laws, Incredibish and Sheol when they stayed with us one Christmas.

So the question is which one shall I use?
