Breakfast
Two Collard Doves greet me every morning as they wait for breakfast. They are joined by a number of small birds, we call them sparrows, but they are not really sparrows. The Doves also like to shelter from the mid day heat and can often be found sitting on the air conditioning units or on the edge of a bucket. I have also seen them using my swinging clothes dryer as a swinging perch. One bird almost comes inside when we open the door. However, this morning they kept moving off when the door opened so I had to take the shot through the glass, fortunately I had cleaned the door yesterday.
Last night we ate at a favourite Korean restaurant. They specialise in spicy fried chicken and also serve a delicious kimchi stew. Last night the owner was there having dinner with friends. This did not stop him from helping the girl who works there by clearing tables and serving food for her. Whilst we waited for our meal he brought us extra chips. We also received a good sized portion of kimchi with the option to get more if needed. The meal was washed down with a beer. Unfortunately they don't have any Korean beer at the moment, but do have local Thai beer and a good selection of soju.
The weather here continues to be warm.
