New arrivals

The new cattle have arrived on the heathland reserve where I undertake one of my butterfly transects. We haven't had any introduced grazing on this site for eight years and I'm hoping that it will  help to reverse the deterioration in the habitat and stem the decline in butterfly numbers. I don't know what type of cattle these are but they are quite short and very inquisitive.
