Nil by mouth

Things with my tooth went from bad to worse overnight and first thing in the morning I was on the phone to the dentist to ask them to give me antibiotics for an infection.  

Happily a young dentist had a cancellation and could see me.  After taking this x-ray and pressing the tooth in various places which made me almost jump out of the chair... he prescribed antibiotics.

He suggested I keep the appointment with my regular dentist tomorrow though to discuss what to do next.
