Illuminated

Missed my run this morning but I am keen to let my knee settle down. So used the spare energy to tackle various household jobs. This included washing down a wall in the attic which had long standing poster paint embellishments from my sons. They had been hidden by various storage boxes. The plaster work needs attention but as I am already awaiting a plasterer to sort out the landing and hallway this will have to wait. Why is it old houses always seem to wait until you start one job to uncover more lurking beneath the surface?

Jet managed to snaffle something in the woods which led to an upset stomach. He didn’t appreciate being starved at tea time but seems okay now.

Spotted this Illuminated sign on my early evening walk. Fire lit and looking forward to the Bake Off Final tonight.
