Birthday

It is G's birthday today! She was up early making herself tea, so I took over that little job! I put up a banner for her as well. We continued with the "virtual" theme of the year and  G got an online card and Kindle book!! The evening I planned was part of her gift.

So, school over and after a little rest in the afternoon, we headed out to be at Sol Sky Bar for 5 pm. We got there just in time to appreciate the afternoon light. My main blip is of the buildings on the other side of the Creek, one of which is a Hilton property that we had dinner in. The extras are of the birthday girl!

Because the weather is so pleasant, we walked from the Sky Bar to the dinner venue. We used the water taxi to cross the Creek. It was a fantastic evening - perfect weather and the BBQ at the Rooftop Bar was very good. The views were amazing.

We re-traced the journey back to the car and came home with a doggie bag of all the food that we just had no space to put! I think G has had a very happy day. :))
