Through the bars

We went to the main town of San Sebastián to do some food shopping. There was no salmon in the supermarket and no tuna in the fish shop, boo hoo.
We went to see if any of the rowing boats for this year’s Talisker Whisky rowing challenge across the Atlantic had arrived yet and there were. They are due to set off on 12th December. This one caught my eye with the Devon connection. The Devon freewheelers transport blood, baby milk, vaccines etc for the NHS so they will be the team I will be following this year as they row the 3,000 miles across the Atlantic. We couldn’t get into the enclosure where the boats were stored so had to take the shot through the bars and I didn’t want to drop my phone so apologies for the photo. The boat will be home to four rowers this year.
