Highly viscid

One of my favourite fungi, the Parrot Waxcap, notable for its mixture of colours, usually green and yellow, hence the name Parrot. It's viscid, i.e.'difficult to collect and hold without it slipping out of your hand'. It's Latin name is Gliophorus psittacosis, from the Greek for 'bearing glue' (previously Hygrocybe meaning 'watery head') and from the Greek psittakos or Latin psittacosis meaning... a parrot.
Found with many other Waxcaps on School Knott, Windermere.
