Happy hen

The hens seem to have claimed the terrace as their own. Despite our banning them in summer (hen poo and bare feet not being happy companions) it is now their safe space for daytime preening and perching.

Didn’t see much outside today (on our last forecast sunny day) but Macron has given us the excellent news tonight that we can go for a 20km walk this weekend! Imagine CarbBoy’s delight at the news!

In other news, my new client phoned to apologise for being ‘rude’ in an email (I thought it was to the point and efficient, not rude, but whatever). TallGirl’s friend has Covid again and is locked (!) in a Hong Kong hospital with only law books for company.

And TallGirl is eating shop-bought mince pies. The horror. Send that girl home soon!
