Hold Your Horses

Three little horses,
red and bright, we remember
our time in Sweden.

My daughter paints miniatures, on her nails and on little canvases or paper. She was inspired this time by the souvenir we brought home from Sweden. This lovely red Dala horse always reminds me of my 'small' cousin, Christine, who lives outside of Stockholm. She is a horse rider and a painter of icons. 

My daughter and I hope to travel to Finland and Sweden again, possibly next year. Perhaps we can find more Dala horses.
