RED

Now that I've learnt to do 'colour popping' I'm on the look out for opportunities to practise this new skill. Since red post boxes, telephone boxes and London buses seem to be archetypically British (well in the eyes of tourists anyway), I thought I would 'colour pop' this magnificent Victorian postbox. If you view large you should be able to see the intertwined 'VR' insignia which stands for Victoria Regina. She was the monarch of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland from 20 June 1837 until her death on 22nd January 1901.
