Pimp my bottle!

Here is my water bottle for the gym and it is all the handy work of daughter number 1. If you sit for too long in my house then you end up with a sticker on you, I do not think that there is anything that hasn't been stickered at one time or the other. I love this bottle and sometimes when I am really struggling in a class or in the gym and feel like I am ready to give up, I take a glance at this bottle and remember the reasons why I am there in the first place.

I had a couple of amazing classes this morning. Been slacking off a wee bit in Body Pump for a couple of months now and not really pushing myself as much as I could have been. The stupendous one mentioned it to me last week and then my amazing bench/bike buddy said that we should up or our weights for class today. We increased our weights in every single track. It was hard going but so glad that I did it. I also set myself the challenge of upping my working resistance in the sprinting tracks in RPM. Sprinting suits my genetic makeup and although I always had a pretty decent resistance (in my opinion) I felt that I was becoming a bit complacent. So this morning I started off half a turn more than I would normally and then during the aero race section, turned it up another quarter turn. It felt like my heart was going to burst right out of my chest and I cannot feel my legs anymore. Last challenge of the day was during the Mountain climb, took all 9 turns and made the last a whole turn - done me in but made the wee endorphins run riot!! Treated myself to a McDonalds Egg and Sausage McMuffin for breakfast
