Chicken Run

This is the Escape Queen.  To now, she has been able to get past my barriers and access the rest of the garden. It would not be so bad were it not for the fact that Mrs SoL has been planting around a cleared area which the ‘girls’ love to help and dig, destroying her efforts.  I spent some time working along the fence-line to see where she was getting out.  Then, to be helpful, she showed me!  (Chickens are not particularly bright). This was the place that needed to be beefed up.  It remains to be seen whether it works; 24 hours on, they are still behind the wire.

Addendum:  Roughly 15 minutes after I wrote this, she was out again.  Concerted effort now to find Tom, Dick and Harry!
