Wednesday

It was pouring with rain first thing this morning so Hetty had to be patient before I was ready to step outside. 

A little later but still drizzly, we set off. 

I picked some red berries and have now buried them in silica sand to dry them out for a table decoration for Christmas. 

Hetty slept after her walk giving me time to finish the faux stained glass window. It's now drying.  I shall have to bolster it with card because it's made with sugar paper and is flimsy. Lucy bought the supplies; I'd have bought card.

Hetty is hoping for another walk now but it's only 2pm. I'd rather wait another hour. It will be a battle of wills...
