"Stands the church clock at ten to three?
And is there honey still for tea?"

My mistake, I could have sworn it was half past three...

This bench is in the only place in our garden this time of year where there is any sunshine at teatime (though not today).  It's under the eaves of the old stable which at least keeps the drizzle off.

It was the first bench we bought almost 40 years ago, and it's still going strong!  We had a cottage in Shaftesbury near a home for people with learning and physical disabilities who produced wonderful garden furniture for sale.  We bought this bench and two matching chairs, which are also still in great condition, at one of their open days, and they've moved round all our subsequent houses with us.
