Autumn Leaves

After a foggy wet morning we spotted a break in the weather and went over to the National Trust property of Ashdown for a walk in the woods.  It was our first visit to Ashdown without the original Bentley, however the woodland walks were quiet and dry, and thick with autumn leaves.

There were several paths closed due to dangerous trees, and several of uprooted trunks and broken boughs lined the open routes. (Extra Photo)

We also got to Helen Browning's BBQ Truck on a farm south of Bishopstone, where we both had pulled pork baps, standing in a farmyard surrounded by other people's dogs!  They had an interesting selection of payment options! (Extra Photo)
