Dark....

....dreary, rainy and foggy today, so a perfect day for "food prep" for tomorrow's Thanksgiving dinner. The turkey feels like it's pretty well thawed, I've cut up the fruit for the fruit salad and I've made the cheesecake for desert. If we were having company I'd have gotten a pumpkin pie, which is much more traditional, but seeing as how I don't like pumpkin pie and Tom's favorite is cheesecake, I went with that. No stress for making the turkey tomorrow, as once again with just the two of us we'll eat whenever it's ready.....it doesn't have to be perfectly timed.
I don't know if I mentioned that we did hire one of the two companies that came and looked at our basement, so in preparation for them working on it, all things in the basement have to be 6 feet away from the walls. In moving things around I accumulated another pile of things to go to Goodwill, so we ran those over today to get rid of them, and then stopped at the park on the way home so I could get a blip. For the rest of the day I plan on doing absolutely nothing--just chilling out. :))
