Went grocery shopping and dropped off at Mum & Dad’s this morning, and spent more than an hour at the dentist this afternoon having a filling re-done. I’m not a good patient, not because I’m worried about it hurting but because I get claustrophobic, so I was quite proud of myself for making it through using breathing exercises and mind over matter.

Back home, the news came through that Diego Maradona had died. I don’t have any strong views about him myself, but plenty of people do, including the owners of this Italian restaurant in Valetta I went to with the girls last year. I guess his time with Napoli left its mark.

As you can guess, I haven’t taken any pictures today.
