Chartres Lace

My parents used to fly south for the summer. Mostly to the South of France and Italy. Some how we always passed through Chartres. I was fascinated by the lace in the market from an early age, so one year when I was about 8, I decided I was going to buy some with my holiday pocket money. These gloves were the result.
