Lock Down Day 20

Not all good news from a reccy walk along the canal today - the towpath at Hirst Wood was closed -due ground works being undertaken - blip- decided to divert and walk through Hirst Wood to Dowley Gap Locks

Discovered the towpath at the top of the locks impassable - police tape restricted the way - an amiable policeman suggested another route - turns out a body had been found in the canal - according to the local paper - there were no suspicious circumstances

Good news is that we spoke with M&A - and R has made more mince pies
