Is it Just Me?

On today's weekly shopping trip I kept on tripping over whole pallet loads of beer, lager and cider parked in random places around the store. There were at least 6 others dotted around the store.

Is it big supermarkets taking advantage that all pubs are shut? Or is it just the normal pre-Christmas and New Year's Eve supplies?
