Soon the Nettles Will Also Sleep

A rare day, a sunny day. It is supposed to be cold, but unlike last year, there doesn't seem to be any ice yet. A busy morning with a few different things going on.

Nice to see the sunshine on my lunchtime walk. The only greenery are the ivy, holly and the last few remaining nettle plants. Soon, even the nettles will sleep.

Managed to get a few things done in the afternoon, meetings permitting.

A normal after work bike ride because it was so pleasant at lunchtime. The first this autumn to start after the sun has set (before 4pm). Not much of a breeze, and it is much warmer than expected. A nice night ride, and another 30.5km. 

Wednesday is mid week beer night. Tonight a Vegan DIPA. Despite loads of yeast, it tastes of citrus. Very nice.
