At the top of the hill...

...where the walls come down...
A companion piece to Sunday's derelict shed, which I have blipped before.
This was the guard house for the soldiers up on the hill, looking after the munitions stored on the verges during the war. 

Castlework finished this morning - phew! A bike ride this aft, calling in for takeaway coffee from the farm. They are doing OK with takeaways, so they will probably survive - despite us being back in Tier 3 once the National Lockdown finishes. Skype chat with the Hastings connection later - they are now in Tier 2, which has come as a bit of a blow...
