of fall

took a brief walk - around the block on this - thanksgiving day here in the us - and in spite of the rapid - approach of the color brown - saw a flash of brightness - in the sunlight - hoping beyond hope i - made a dash for it - and found these cuter - than cute intertwined pink leaves - a tiny yet vibrant showing - of autumn still hanging on

they are a testament - to the tenacity of nature - as well as the strength - of all our spirits in light - of the kind of months - endured thus far - while also being a beacon - of hope to what is to come - and what we can be thankful for - because at the end of it all - it always leads to...
