Blue Sky!

For the first time in about a week the sky was blue early this morning, but bad weather was forecast for later in the morning. There was a warm nor’wester and the conditions were dry. I hung out the washing as early as I could and got stuck into weeding. The tall grasses are winning at present. The more I pull out the more they pop up. By 10.45 am when the rain started most of the washing was dry, a heaped barrowload of long grass had been pulled and a flower garden that was overgrown with clover was cleared. And then the temperature plummeted more than 10ºC.
